Sanding Masonry Paint

I'm touching up my house paint and the closest match I can find is a smooth finish but the house is done in a sanded finish.

Has anyone tried adding sand? Builders (soft) sand OK or posh kiln dried stuff? Does it stay in suspension or need constant stirring?

Good idea to overcome your problem and worth a try..go for fine sand, just dont add too much

Thing is though you might be better off doing the whole lot...youll be lucky to get away with touching up without leaving marks
