I'm looking for 2 sandstone window sills to match exsisting sills in house, they are shaped at the ends where fitted into brickwork.
1 If i look for reclaimed sandstone is it easy to cut and shape or
2 am i better getting sills made to pattern (there is a company locally making reconstituted sandstone products)
3 is it possible to cast something myself with the look of new red sandstone
Thanks for any suggestions

You would need to be more than 'andy, andy to cast or cut your own sandstone cills. It is far better to get them from a specialist supplier in my experience. They cut the throats on them with precision and it is not something you can easily replicate without the jigs and cutting equipment they use.
