I'm installing a shower room in my basement and due to the waste pipe being the floor above I understand I'll need a saniflo/flush macerator/pump?

The ones I've seen seem to be secreted behind the WC or under the wash hand basin. I'd prefer to run the waste from the shower room into the next room (cupboard) where I'd like to locate the macerator. Thereafter the waste only needs pumped up about 2 metres to the waste pipe.

Can anyone in the know advise me on which size/power output of unit I'd require?

Specific links would be much appreciated :)

Before you get one of these evil satan macerators, consider finding some mug who will come and fix it when it goes wrong. :!: :!:

If you're installing only a shower, the get one of these:

If you're thinking of installing a WC as well, then don't.
