One Small food bag over each cable.
Tape arround bag to hold bag onto cable.
Ensure Cable end pointing upright so rain does not flow down cable into bag causing bag to fill with water.

There are lots of ways of achieving this!
I would probably use an f plug inline coupler to protect the plug, and some PVC tape (or heatshrink boot), over the top
