Savio GAIA 424S DHW problem

Dear all,

It's the Savio GAIA 424S again. (BIASI family)

I had an engineer came in and replaced 2 diaphrames but still Hot water is not working. Now he says I have to change the pump which will cost £200-£300. shall I let him proceed and will it be the end of the paying?
Please help.
