Hi,

I've found this forum useful for all sorts of good advice but never of a woodworking nature!

I'm looking to source some scaffolding boards to make some raised beds and thought whilst I was at it I'd have a go at some outdoor furniture too. There are plenty of good tutorials but I've found a bench I like the look of but can't quite figure out how the two sections are connected, and wondered if anyone could help me out.

It's pretty clear how the legs and top are made, but how does the lower layer of the top affix to the legs?

Thanks in advance! [/url]

Impossible to say for certain , could be a timber baton across or metal angle brackets or other methods. If you are to use indoors the boards will need acclimatising for several months.
