scaffolding price

Hello,
We got a quote of 6000 pounds for 8-week scaffolding for our 3 bed detached house(2-story approx:140 sqm) in north London.
This is over our budget, but we have no idea what the right price should be.
Could anyone tell us the what you think abut the price?

We pay about £400 - £800 here.

You need to shop around. I appreciate prices in the City will be greater but 6k is bonkers.

At that rate, buy the bloody stuff (Beaver84) and then sell it afterwards. Or get another quote.

Whereabouts in north london! I can give you a number for someone reasonable. Worse case i think 1200 -1500 if acess is an issue and has to be dragged through the house. Might be less!
