Can anyone comment on the suitability and/or peformance record of the ScaleManager product please?

I am looking at options to protect my new plumbing system which will be pressurised unvented. I do live in a hrad water area.

Electronic 'scale managers' don't work, the effect is somewhere between negligible and nothing.

"Hard Water harms the environment via in-efficient water heating and chemcial to combat limescale."

Why would you spend £249 on a product from a company that can't be bothered to run their web-site's text through a spellchecker?
