I have just replaced the battery in my house alarm but do have the engineers code. I am now getting a message to call the engineering but I can't because i don't have contact number or engineer code. Is there anyway to bypass this. I know the new battery is working because the alarm went off. Thanks

What Scantronic control panel do you have ?
You say you have the engineers code ?
Did you open control panel lid and just change the battery and then reset with your customer code.
System my be engineer reset on tamper fault and you need to enter engineering with correct code and come out of engineering to reset.

He says he does not have the engineers code. Or any other codes. Or a contact number to phone.

They also DONT say what model it is AND they "know the battery is working as the alarm went off " which makes no sense ?
