I have a scantronic 9600 alarm which i have had for a number of years. The battery is approx 5yrs old. I wish to replace the battery. Whilst i have the user manual i do not have the engineers manual. I do not have the engineers code and as i have lost contact with the installer has anyone any idea how i can go about this. Thanks Seggy365

Just open the lid and change it. Use your user code to silence the tamper alarm.
The odds are the current battery is still OK anyway.

cant comment on the state of the battery until its been tested which the op cant do.

odds are that the battery would fail a drop test

5 years old....change it

To download a service/installation manual from the Coopers Security website you need to be an installer and register on their ‘Touchpoint Partner Programme’.
