Scary Diplomat Dishwasher

Our dishwasher whilst working makes makes a horrendous extrememly loud popping sound mainly towards the end of a programme as though electrics are arcing out.
We are scared to use it now although all the programmes still work and the fuse on the plug does not blow. Any ideas?????

Diplomat don't make anything. They badge other machines and for this reason the model number is required for your machine to identify it.
