Is there a way to repair / blend in a scratch on a toilet, I replaced the toilet seat and ended up having to cut the old one off, unfortunately in the process I scratched the toilet.

You get ceramic rubbers, Work on slight marks depends how bad it is . Screwfix used to have them . Don't know any other method.

thanks I'll take a look, would be a shame if I couldnt get rid of it, just leave the seat up and you wont see it

Edit I just searched screwfix but 0 results found any other ideas welcome

Tin of Brasso does a good job too as it is an abrasive and polish in one.
Most times you do not actually have a scratch but a mark left behind by whatever tool.
My titanium wedding ring is a nightmare for leaving marks on porcelain/ceramic.

thanks I'll grab a can of brasso when I go to the shops later
