Screed on top of screed?

Hi all. Planning for a bathroom reno so will remove tiles and am assuming underneath them is existing screed and then the concrete slab.

The big question I have is whether it's ok to screed over the top of the existing screed? Or should I remove all existing screed first down to the concrete base and start from there?

If I screed on top of the old screed then the new screed is likely to be no thicker than 25mm.

Appreciate any advise on the matter!

You can screed ontop of screed, you may need to primer to ensure the top screed adhere's properly
