hi

I have had a new house built that has underfloor heating with a 75mm sand and cementr screed over the pipes. I am putting down karndean on the floor. I know i need to screed the floor what screed is normally used for this.

Do i need to use flexi screed ?

Do you have a very short memory span and forget that you posed this question and had answers a month ago ( and then asked the same question again at the end of thread after numerous replies ? )

You don't get better answers proportional to the number of times you ask the question, you know.

In reply to your very cheeky answer my question is do you have to use flex screed?. Iv never asked this before.

As i come from a small town do not have a great deal of choice were to buy this stuff from and seems to be these flooring sellers will tell you any thing to try and get as much money out of you as they can.

I found out this when a £11700 pound quote for supply only of kardean, Turned into £4700 after i showed them a quote of the net.

Im now being told that supply only of floor screed will cost £1000 pound as they claim you must put flexi sceed over a sand and cement screed that has underfloor heating pipes in it.

As i dont know if this is true i thought i would ask the question on here.

People ask questions on here so people that have experiance can give them an answer.

So think before you open ur gob and dont be such a ****.
