I've got a Bosch Maxx Plus WF02860 washing machine and my clothes come out like screwed up rags. I'm only putting it on a 40 degrees wash and 1000 spin. Any ideas why this is happening? I'm in a rented house so the machine isn't even mine.

Watch it during the wash part of the programme to see if it turns the drum in the opposite direction each time it starts turning. The machine I am using at the moment has a fault in the timer and it always only turns in one direction so I also end up with a bunch of shirts tied in knots. I have a machine I can canibalise for a timer but I just need to get a round toit.
