"Scroll Saw Adapter" - opinion please!

Hi All,

Just seen this on the 'net and I'm not impressed after watching the video. Anyone had experience with these or anything similar?

Also would be pleased to hear from anyone who has adapted their jigsaw into a scroll saw, I've seen a few projects online but would prefer to hear "from the horse's mouth"...

Take a look at this and this for cheap, home-made options, although they both are lacking but do need a blade guard (after all you are running somethig akin to a bandsaw - and the guy in the first one is taking riiculous risks with his hands so close to an unguarded blade). Otherwise the Neutechnik is the only commercially available sophisticated accessory out there and can be made to tilt as well as use scroll saw blades. BTW, why do you dislike it so much?
