I have some SDS drill bits and need to purchase a drill to drive them.

A lot of the ones I am looking at are SDS Plus.
Are they backwards compatable?

Will an SDS Plus drill fit an SDS bit?

Thanks

Most 'SDS' bits are actually SDS+ bits. SDS is a smaller fitting than SDS+, and SDS Max is bigger than SDS+. + has nothing to do with rotary stop (they may or may not have it). I've never actually seen an SDS fitting, only SDS+ and bigger.
