I have just moved house and all the radiators and valves need changing (Leaking) also some slight alterations to the pipe work, as i can not find radiators the same size that are already fitted.
A new boiler was fitted with a filling loop and a pressure gauge but the previous owners never updated the radiators.
How do i drain this system ? is it just a case of using the drain valve and turning the boiler of or do i have to shut of any water cocks as well.
The water is very black in the system, when i refill with the filling loop is it best to flush and redrain the system again until water is clear.
How long before i drain and refill the system again.
