Sealing a stone bathroom worktop?

I've used a stone slab as a unit top in our bathroom and wondered if I should seal it? It has a basin on top so will get splashed and probably a bit of toothpaste and soap on it.

The slab is the standard Indian stuff from Jewsons, about 25mm think.

Is there anything available in small quantitys?
