I'm changing my bath tomorow and have a quick question before i start. The block that currently is on my bath leaks down through the pipe holes. Can you get new gaskets to seal the block down or can i just use a bed of silicone? It needs to be a good seal as its in a shower bath so gets loads of water over it.
Thanks in advance. :D

Ok i'm not a plumber

Well Let me teach a plumber some of my own terms even if its only me who knows what it is. lol

What i mean by block is bath mixer taps with shower attachment. (a block of metal)

you can use silicone but i would get two new rubber washers.
as they also help when doing the taps up not to crack the bath and grip the bath.
