Hi Could any one give me some advise on the correct way to fit 24mm sealed double glazed units to new hardwood doors and windows on a new extension?

I've allready fitted one panel by using doubled sided tape on the inside then put small amount of silicone on the out-side then nailing beading on.

Is this the correct method or should I use a glazing gasket with rubber edges that I've just found on line, which does look like a better finish or is this gasket for pvc windows?

Many Thanks

The way you've done it is perfectly fine, gaskets are usually used in pvc as there is a groove in the profile to clip it in
