We have a couple of original stain glass windows (c1910) in our hall way.
They are in reasonable condition for their age but there are some cracks in parts of the coloured glass and a few areas where the Lead has 'shrunk' away from the glass leaving small gaps causing draughts.
The two options would seem to be to pay to get the original windows repaired, or (in order to eliminate the draughts) get some secondary glazing fitted. So, does anyone know an approximate cost for SG on the following size windows please?
1) 1.3 mtr x 0.6mtr
2) 1.5 x 1.1 (this is one window but comprises of 3 pieces 0.5 x 1.1 each)
None of the windows have openers so no need for hinged or sliding access.
The only DIY options I have seen are plastic film and double sided tape - really looking for something more sustantial (and more aesthetically pleasing).
Could anyone advise what my options are please?
Thanks
