security on outlook folder

is there any way of password protecting a folder that I have in Outlook ????

Dont want the kids reading certain emails, no rude thoughts please, Divorce stuff......................... :confused:

I have saved all the emils into one folder, a sub folder of the Inbox, just dont weant them to open it.............

as far as I am aware you can't password protect a folder.

What you can do though is create a new PST file, transfer all the email you want into it and the password protect the whole PST.

If you want to be really secure, after you move the emails over, make sure you perform a compact and repair to remove all the old emails from the orginal PST.
 
maybe put it on a CDRW and not your hard drive (keep a backup)

you could encrypt your outlook folder to password protect it.
google... tucows.. quite a few free encrypton programs there.
