I bought a kitchen sink off e-bay a few months back and have now gotten round to fitting it.
it came with a bag full of bits that I was assured was all the drainage and overflow etc..

I've now found that i seem to be missing a bit.. the white or chrome plughole bit... ( x2 )..

I have the bit that goes underneath and I assume that it was left out of the kit so that I could decide myself if i wanted chrome or white etc..

can you get just the top bit, as I have the bottom part..

do i need to silicone it into place ?

thanks, but it's wider than that..
I think they are called basket wastes? or something..
about 4 inches across.. ( to the untrained eye.. )

this is the thing, but i have the white bit at the bottom, and a white version of the strainer bit, it's the plughole bit that I'm missing..

figured they might..

ah well at least I will know for sure that the chrome bit fits the white bit right..

now.. do i run a bead of silicone under the chrome bit?

Shouldn't be necessary, but won't do it any harm if it worries you. White spirit and a rag to clean off any excess immediately.

ok will do..

next stupid question..

I can't seem to find any waste pipe connectors for screwing onto the plughole bit.

the traps fit onto them but I don't want 2 traps taking up space..
I want a couple of bends and a tee then a trap where it goes through the wall ..
