I found an obstruction by the impellor, but having removed it the machine still does not empty. Its model no. s9g1s. Any ideas? If it is the pump any ideas how I get access.
Does the pump actually run? First check for blockages in the waste hose & make sure your plumbing is in order. Then take out the filters & remove the plastic cover on the L/H side of the sump (you may have to bail out water). Once the cover is off try to rotate the impellor to see if anything else is jamming it & while in there lift out the the small rubber non-return flap & make sure that is not stuck/blocked. If all seems in order remove door facia & front panel just below it (there is no removable bottom plate on your model). This gives you access to the pump & hoses. Then take off L/H side-plate & check for a build-up of gunge in the pressure chamber. You should also take a close look at the ribbed plastic hoses to/from the pressure chamber/sump as these sometimes get blocked by fat & residue. If so remove & clean them. Should you need to remove the pump it is accessible via the front panel. The pump is twist fitted but you need to release a plastic clip before twisting the pump quarter of a turn to get it out. Good luck
