Some Excel (plus other) video tutorials... http://www.datapigtechnologies.com/ExcelMain.htm

As you progress into Excel ... This is an excellent guide...

Best books IMO are the 'Using Excel / Word / Access' type. They usually take one through a mini project whilst explaining / demonstrating usage - You could say a 'super manual' having linked examples.

Try this...
Excel http://books.google.co.uk/books?lr=&rview=1&as_brr=3&q=Microsoft+Office+Excel&btnG=Search+Books

Word http://books.google.co.uk/books?lr=&rview=1&as_brr=3&q=Microsoft+Office+Word&btnG=Search+Books
'click' on a 'cover' explore 'contents' ... Some books have a minimal preview others much more ... Find something you feel comfortable with - it helps.
