Hi,

I’m going to raise an uneven concrete floor by about 10mm. It need to match the floor height in the room next to it.

I can take the level from that floor and work backwards…but I’m wondering what will happen once I get further into the room and can no longer get the level from the other floor!

Is there any method to ensure the floor height remains consistent throughout?

thanks

Just do it in stages. So get some 9mm plywood ant glue strips to the floor to use as a guide.

Thanks that is an option but I'm keen to get it done in one go.

All I can think of is to screw a dozen or so screws into the floor at the required level...I just thought there might be a better way

thanks again

Sorry I can't help but I do wonder if the trade have a special secret. I have visions of buying a load more bags than I estimate or running back to Wickes for another 5 bags mid job, especially when I will be trying to match a new concrete floor to an existing timber after a knock through.
