As its getting so bloody cold people are bleeding their rads, so been looking at the automated bleed valves. Anyone use them? Google found us the easybleed but never used one so any ideas, worth it?

1 Close Lsv, don't worry if the system has been balanced

2 Turn drain cock clockwise to open :?

3 Turn on boiler to re pressurize system

What a joke, typical salesman

pointless.
decent system does not need bleeding on a regular basis, if at all.

I think that what people fail to realise is that if a system is constantly generating air then there is an inherent problem with the system.

By fitting these they are just masking over a fault and in the long term creating more damage to the system.

The best option is to have the system checked properly and rectify the faults in the first place.
