Today we took a radiator off to strip some wallpaper, however now the pilot light of our boiler has gone out. Is this related or a total coincidence?

Sorry can't tell you anymore details about the boiler, we've only been in our house 4months?

Even harder to comment about possible causes without even knowing make & model of boiler.

The database I run of boiler manuals contains well over 6 thousand makes/models and that isn't all of them! They are all different so make & model IS important when asking for help.
