I have a 5 year old Redrow Canterbury home, and plan on installing some multi-room audio and whole-house Cat6 wiring to support some of the technology in the house. Being a 'new build' I have stud walls, which has been helpful when running TV and satellite cables in the upstairs rooms, however I now need to get some cable runs installed to the ground floor. Has anyone succeeded in getting or obtaining plans from Redrow/other developers to find where the service ducts/main utility runs are?

Many thanks.

Unlikely to have service ducts in a home, if ground floor is concrete, power and water services maybe all run under the 1st floor boards then down thru walls..

Yes I was after utility route plans more than anything. Nothing useful so far however.
