i've discovered a pair of service valves in my central heating pipework. Its all 15mm and they don't look like full bore valves. Do they restrict the flow and Should I change them for full bore ones? Thanks to anyone who can advise.

Depends on the valve, but as a rule - yes change them for nice full-bore lever/butterfly valves.
