I have a Yamaha as above and wish to service it.
In particular I need to replace the impeller. I have undone the 2 M6 retaining bolts underneath the cavitation plate but the bottom part of the leg (gearbox) will only come away from the upper part of the leg by about one inch. I expected it to slide all the way off allowing access to the impeller. Perhaps I need to undo something else?
