:?: we have an old servowarm tank wich has a lever on the front, for us to slide ovr to hot water ot heating depending on how the weather is, the lever has broken, is it poss to get a replacement. if not what would you reccomend?

I've managed to get one a good few years ago through plumb center. Might be worth checking with your local branch.

Best solution if you can afford it is to upgrade to an electric valve. If you don't want to get involved with the boiler electrics it would be simple enough to run it on its own supply to provide thermostat control over the central heating.

replace it with a proper 3port valve and a timer that allows you to use hot water and central heating completely independently, it will boost performance significantly

Part number for parts centre is 460745 or can be ordered from rega-uk.com.
Not exactly same as originals and may need slight alteration

You can get just the same effect with two gate valves for a fraction of the cost!

Tony

If you fit two gate valves you are going to need to fit a bypass though.
