I misread the PWC announcement. It's for 2026. £1.3M.

PWC will definitely earn their money on that deal.
 
I wonder if this was a nationalised company doing it, how the right winger would view it.

But as a " free market" company it's ok

Put it another way. If this was a software company, nobody would pay any attention to a "licensing" deal which resulted in royalties being charged by a Danish entity with no assets, to a UK entity that had sold something of value.
 
The goal is to fleece the nation and enrich private investors.
 
Certainly happened with PPP/PFI. What genius Tory came up with that nonsense.

In John Major's version there was a transfer of risk with the asset. Hence it wasn't very popular. Gordon Brown fixed that.

4bn a year, 80bn cost to the tax payer. Thanks to a dopey Labour chancellor who wanted to spend, spend, spend while pretending there was no debt?

Happy to discuss this as much as you want. The public sector are experts at cooking the books.
