I have the tall skirting board (180mm) and I’m looking to get a new shoe cabinet

Unfortunately the ones I like, the maximum height of the legs is 130mm, and I want it to sit flush to the wall rather than having a gap, because it’ll bug me every time I walk in my door and see a 18-20mm gap between cabinet and wall

Has anyone overcome this issue?

Done a quick search but can’t find any longer cabinet legs

Cheers

as its specifically for shoes i would be looking at what material the unit is made from and replicate the shape and material in the form off 2 matching sides off at least 190mm to replace the legs to attach to the base and short at the back to clear the rear skirting and iff the unit is in a corner the new sides would be say skirting thickness plus 5mm in from the sides to allow for deviation and matched on both sides for uniformity

You could make a plinth for the cabinet out of matching skirting.

Plinth would look better than legs.
