Should I embed metal shed base in concrete?

Hi,

I've just purchased a metal shed (13x10 feet). I have an area in the garden that is just larger than this and is slabbed.

I was thinking it would be a good idea to put the shed onto this but the slabs are a little uneven (but no obvious movement in them). The shed has a bottom rail that the panels bolt onto. The rail is about 2 inches wide and has a lip in the middle that is about 1 inch high that the panels bolt onto from the outside. There are holes on the inside flat part of the rail to bolt the shed down.

I was thinking I could pour concrete into the shed (and effectively have the rail as the barrier). This would give me a nice solid level floor and also attach the shed to the ground. If I was to do this would it be advisable to put a damp proof membrane down first then pour the concrete on top?

Perhaps a better option would be to lay the shed ontop of the concrete base rather than embed it into it?

Any plus/minuses in my thoughts or better ways to doing it?

Thanks for any help.

John.
