Should I get this manhole repaired?

I have a manhole cover on my drive and the concrete around the edge is starting to crumble. Or car good over this cover on a regular basis.

My gut is telling me to get this replaced sooner rather than later, the crumbling is only going to get worse. But am I just being really cautious and it'll probably be fine for a few more years?

The man hole cover frame could be failing (or the frame bedding is failing) and an opening shows on the RH side in the pic - this opening might allow rats or smells to access the surface.
Only you on site can tell if the manhole is car safe?
However, the driveway looks due for renewal, and it would be better and cheaper to fix the driveway and deal with the manhole at the same time.

If you lift the cover and post pics of the frame it might help?
