Hello all

Not sure if anyone can help, I've fitted a shower bar in the bathroom and stoopidly I didnt take into account the thickness of the tiles.

So when I screw the trim covers on before attaching the bar itself it doesnt leave enough thread to attach the bar and seal on the washers..

Has anyone had this problem and got round it without knocking the tiles off :(

I did think about some thick fibre washers or cutting the trim down... I've looked online and couldnt find any thiner trims....

I got a slightly thinner trim here on the left but its still 5mm to deep..

Pointers really appreciated

Cheers guys! I do have a dremel... didnt think of that! its got some very fine cutting disks aswell - cheers Madrab for reminding me. (y)

Its odd that you cant buy them - the ones that came with my other shower are adjustable and would easily fit.. I had to work the tiles out with adhesive to square the wall up and thats whats messed it up.
