Shower control valve

Hi guys, a bit of advice would be much appreciated.
My shower control, triton?
Is starting to play up, not closing properly and leaking. Having to force it shut.
It is 28 years old, so been a good- un!
I don’t know the model, and was under the impression it is ceramic cartridge?
However, I stripped it down this morning and if it is a cartridge, it’s well and truly stuck.
As it’s so old , I obviously would like to replace the cartridge for simplicity , rather than change the complete unit? If I can get the old one out?
The inlet pipes are 125 mm apart, new ones are 150 mm! Centre to centre. Half inch inlet fittings
Not sure how I could fit a new one, no wiggle room of pipes, and tiled up to unit. Do they do smaller elbows?
I ‘ve uploaded a few pics.
Any advice would be welcome, it’s wall mounted, not inset.

WD 40 and leave for 30 mins may help break the seal.
I don't know how it comes apart but this site has many cartridges so maybe one matches yours..

It is 28 years old, so been a good- un!

It's had a good innings, if you use your shower frequently I'd be looking to change it. Will need some opening up, but could still look good with some creative thinking.

WD 40 and leave for 30 mins may help break the seal.
I don't know how it comes apart but this site has many cartridges so maybe one matches yours..

I’ve posted it on shower doc, today.
I googled it, and results vary, but most say it’s a generic one for multiple models, but triton, and SSP say it’s discontinued, no alternative available, but the part number is available on some sites?

Hi Denso, if I cannot get new valve, any idea how I alter pipe work from 125mm to 150mm, without smashing tiles etc,to fit a new one?

Hi Warner’s, shower doc also says discontinued, no other available, so looks like a new one, if I can find out how to adjust pipe work inlets?
