shower enclosures

I want to fit panels to studwork in a shower cubicle. These will finally be tiled over.
What material should I use for the panelling? I dont want it to rot should there be a sleight leak. Also it must be rigid.

Tile backing board from Wickes is a good one...fibre/cement. Can`t remember the .name Try the tiling forum the`re using it all the time.
