Hello,

Just about to refurb a house and just wondered whether you would choose to have a shower fed from a combi or whether to install an electric shower? (maybe 9 or 10 kW)

The place is going to be completely re-wired and plumbed throughout, so its a blank canvass at the moment, just interested what people would prefer...

Electric heating is 3 timer more expensive than gas.
Smallest combi has twice the power of largest electric shower.
Installation of combi fed is cheaper as well, as you have the boiler anyway.
No brainer.

if you are fortunate to have more than one shower its always worthwhile having one electric if your running a combi.
