Can anyone tell me how to go about fixing the shower on this pls? When we pull the shower switch, water trickles out of the shower head, but still pours out of the tap. Any help would be really appreciated. Thankyou

Cheap and nasty tap most likely needs washers changed

to stop switching modes with the water running.
With these taps I think you HAVE to have the water running to keep the shower connection open - it relies on the flow of water through the diverter to achieve the shower.
Unfortunately I have no idea how you can extract the diverter to fix it.

Lift the diverter and, with a thin wrench on the flats under the knob, unscrew the diverter valve.

Probably a dislodged/damaged O ring

Unscrew the knob
Then the whole assembly can be unscrewed grin the body.

KB, the flow of water holds the diverter in place, but you really need to move the knob then turn the water in.

As said, these ate cheap and nasty. The mechanism doesn't like being moved during operation. Especially on high pressure systems.

It may well be cheap and nasty but it serves us well, has done for years! Its all fixed now, simple case of a washer that had moved.

Thankyou all for your help anyways
