hi there ,i am sure its a common problem but i have looked everywhere for the answer
i have a shower mixer and have problems with the hot water pressure its fine until i turn it off for a second and if turned back on the pressure has gone , i have a pump conected to the water boiler .
the boiler is not above the bathroom its on the same level , i am wondering if this is the problem ?
i would like to be able to use the shower without the hot water going off .

please help

kind regards

It's probably because tthere isn't enough head of water for the HW flow to trigger the flow switch. If it comes on if you lower the shower head that would confirm it. The proper answer is a "negative head" pump, but you could also fit a pull switch or air switch to manually turn the pump on.

hi again ,

it happens even if i turn on a hot tap for a minute then turn off and on again .
the water boiler is on the same level as the taps , i have 1x bath taps with mixer, 1 x kitchen monoblock tap and 1 x monoblock bathroom sink taps

would i need a negative head pump in this situation and if so which strenth ?

kind regards

nick
