Shower...my options..?

how big is your boiler then? plate hex will need 20kw min for something midly average/poor. Venturi shower has has to be the easiest and cheapest option

Not sure on the output, but it's an oil boiler, around 30kw.

I haven't heard good things about the venturi showers, seems they can be temperamental.

Ok update..

We are now moved in and am planning the bathroom.

I've serviced the boiler, they aren't gonna replace it with a combi, so that's that.

I've done a bit of investigation on the hot water cylinder. It's a 110L storage for the hot, I ran the kitchen hot tap and bathroom hot tap at full blast untill the water went cold.

Now this took 8 minutes and the combined cold water tank more than kept up, I calculated that at about 13L minute.

I thinking of a standard thermostatic bar mixer shower , I already have a twin 1.7 bar pump.

I will fit a cold water tank.

Does this sound possible?

Advice please, thanks in advance.
