Shower not staying hot

Hi

IO have a shower with a Pegler mixer tap... over the past few months I have noticed that the water seems to getting less and less hot, and now it only comes out luke warm, then goes cold for a bit, then heats up again etc.

It cant be the boiler as the hot water works fine in all the other taps...

Can anyone suggest what the issue may be? And is it something I would be able to fix myself, or am I likely to need a plumber?
