Ive made the structure from 4x2.

Can I floor board on top with T&G and stick the tray to that or do I ned to use plywood?

Thing is I have loads of new floorboards left

Thanks

Can't see any problem using floor boards - have done so myself many times. Just don't use MDF or chipboard.

Nah, its softwood flooring.

I bought a whole load to redo the bathroom and part of the lounge so spare boards left, and would rather use them than go out and buy a massive bit of ply.

Also how should I secure the support platform to the floor to stop any movement?

"No More Nails" adhesive?

cheers

may drop a few "L" bracks as well

Just realised I will have to use plywood as if I use floorboard, in the corner where the waste is, there is not much support so a board may be 15cm away from a supporting 4x2.

Using ply would means its one piece so weight is evenly distributed
