Not sure if this should be in Plumbing or Electrical forum.

One of My tenents claims that the Gainsborough electric shower in the flat takes approx ten mins to get to reasonable temp in the morning.

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?

I am considering just arranging for a new one to be fitted as its been in the property for approx 10 years. I have seen budget ones from approx £80. Anyone have a rough idea what it would cost to fit a replacment.

Thanks

hi craig were not supposed to give prices on this forum but...

sounds like elements have gone i'd definately suggest replacement would be quickest and best option.
Gainsborough showers start at around £50,triton at £80 and mira at £120+ to give you an idea ging up in respective quality.
check your water and power inlet locations and try to get like for like-if you can replacement would take 1 hour max-that should give you a rough idea-hope that helps
