I have a 1.5bar shower pump to install and would like to use existing pipework where possible.

The pump has 22mm flexible hoses and the manual recommends 22mm pipework throughout.

My existing cold water feed to the shower is a dedicated feed but 15mm pipe. I was hoping to connect the pump to this in the airing cupboard next to the hot water cylinder. Will the 15mm pipe be a problem?

The hot water will be a dedicated feed taken from a Surrey flange using 22mm pipe to the pump but 15mm to the shower.

I understand this isn't as recommended in the manual but will it work ok?

Thanks

Who knows??

You need to test your flow and pressure?

Get yourself a wier cup and a pressure gauge, or the poor mans wier cup is a jug with accurate timing to measure the flow in litres per second
