My hot tank and pump are on the floor below the shower with the cold tank above the shower.
I can't work out whether 22mm or 15mm pipework makes much difference if you are only running the one shower off a 1.5 Bar pump.
I have 22mm hot and cold pipes feeding the pump. BUT, they have a short stretch of 15mm pipe just before the 22mm flexible couplings, soldered to them. So I guess they count as 15mm (?)
I can't cut the flexible hoses out and use new 22mm ones because the only place I could do that on the hot one, without draining, is behind the cylinder (!?)
At the pump outlets the 22mm couplings connect to 15mm pipes to the shower.
Does this sound like an OK setup? Is there a problem using 15mm as opposed to 22mm pipes with this pump?
I'm getting the Grundfos Nile STR-1.5C Twin 1.5 bar pump.
Many thanks...
