If the shower valve is a manual use a pump with a centrifugal impellor and a bypass loop fitted http://www.tapstore.com/acatalog/QT80BP_Whole_House_Pump_2_30bar.html that is the quietest on the market.
You can use screwfix one if it is a thermostatic shower valve but they are not designed for manual shower valves and will leak after a few months.

You can get the whole house version http://www.tapstore.com/acatalog/Right_whole_house_twin_pump_2_25bar.html its only £9.00 more. that will work fine with a manual valve, most of these units are non thermostatic.

Make sure that the flow from the hot side and the cold side is at least 1.5liters per min if it is not then you will have to get a negative head version. [/url]
